Details of the 2012 stallion Auction will be displayed within the next few weeks

In 2007, the Irish Draught Horse Society, Northern Ireland, launched the Stallion Covering Auction, a fund raising initiative to preserve and promote the Irish Draught while providing much needed financial assistance to local chariities.
This initiative was applauded throughout the equine community and beyond, encouraging the IDHS NI to hold subsequent auctions in 2008 and 2009.
All have been exceptionally well supported and it has now become an annual event.

To date, we have supported a number of charities:

Marie Curie Cancer Care
NI Childrens Hospice
Samaritans
Motor Neurone Disease Association
Sam Moore Fund
Riding for the Disabled Association
Chest, Heart & Stroke Association
