Ricardo Z has to be one of the most versatile stallions standing at public stud in Ireland.

Impeccably bred, his sire Rebell II Z is full brother to Ratina Z, winner of two Olympic medals and a World Cup and known in showjumping circles as the world’s greatest showjumping mare.
Ricardo’s versatility is evident by the fact that he has sired horses that have performed, or are performing, at the highest level in Eventing, Showjumping and in the Show Ring.

In eventing circles we find a long list of very good horses, the most memorable being Fenyas Elegance, 4yr old FEHL winner and Ricanga, 5 yr old FEHL league winner.
Other notable eventers are Midget On A Mission, Appapa, Ballylaffin Bracken and Calvaro, who were multiple winners in different countries.

On the showjumping circuit Ricardo’s stock again came to the fore with Gucci winning throughout Ireland and the 5yr old class at Lanaken ,and Carley Que ,AK Arkansas, Rebel Hill, Ricardo Quest and Goldardo,winners in Europe and South Africa.

Add to the above sample of achievements the fact that Ricardo Z has also sired many show winners including Lorenzo, Balmoral Champion and Supreme Hunter Champion at Dublin and What’s What, Balmoral Champion and one has to conclude that here is a sire to be reckoned with.
