Newmarket Jewel is a very quality stallion that jumped at Grade A international level, where he demonstrated the technique and scope of a true show jumper. In 2002 he won the Rockbarton Championship for 7 & 8 yr olds. He is quiet and easy to handle, has correct conformation and generous movement, all qualities sought after in a Sport Horse sire. Though classified as Westphalian, Newmarket Jewel carries lots of blood from his sire line which is all Anglo Arabian (TB) and from the maternal grandam line which is also Thoroughbred. This 'blood' is evident in his youngsters, whether competing in Dressage, Eventing or Show jumping.
